Léfka Óri

Léfka Óri means White Mountain, takes nearly all the central part of the West of Crete and is what characterizes the region.
Madares, Léfka Óri or white mountain is a mountain range whose main components are limestone, granite and dolomite.
She remains covered in snow until spring, therefore its name. You have more than 30 peaks exceeding 2,000 metres in height and the highest peak is Pachnes measured 2,453 m, is the second in height of Crete after Mount Ida or Psiloritis and the tenth of Greece, also has more than 50 gorges, among them the famous Gorge of Samaria. The island of Naxos , considered the largest of the Cyclades, is a place that keeps the sand in 6,000 years of history, which inevitably express themselves in every monument, every archaeological site, and each of its beautiful beaches, which are many.

The Island of Crete

The island of Crete is one of the strongest points for tourism in Greece . Because they are 160 kilometers of beaches, divided between the southern and the northern area, with many towns that have preserved and faithfully represent the endless history of Greece.

One of the best examples of what is mentioned above the town of Rethymno, which has remained frozen in time, and it is from and worth visiting. Right there is the beach of the same name. It is a wide beach, palm tree-lined, and very crowded in the center. If we move a little, give with quieter beaches and crystal-clear water, as the beach of Bali, which is a picturesque fishing village.

On the south coast, lie the beaches of Ayia Galini and Plakias, which are also very touristy, but visitors should not forget to stop some distance from the central parts of each beach, you will find excellent places Paradise.

The Island of Rhodes

The Island of Kos

The island of Kos is a beautiful destination in Greece , where we find 100 kilometers of coastline that throw all kinds of beaches, both for its appearance as for its concurrence. In the northern prevail slightly dark pebble beaches and in the south, we find a much finer sand and golden.

Mykonos Island

Mykonos Island is a destination in Greece was closely associated to the beach. He has nearly 80 square kilometers and stunning coastline. So, the tourist in Athens can start to go the Central, or South, or why not the north or the west of the city.

In addition, the city can be toured on foot as there is a footpath of about 4 kilometers linking the archaeological sites; for it, you can take the pedestrian street which is called “Dionisiou Areopagitou. ” From there you can climb to the Acropolis to see the Greek Parthenon, and the Erechtheion, the Acropolis Museum, with its thousands of parts and archaeological relics, and the Propylaea.
