Greece Islands
The Greek islands have always been a source of inspiration for artists around the world. The beauty of the island has remained until today, despite the changes that time has caused. Nobody can remain indifferent to the picturesque island villages, the infinity of the sea that surrounds them, the deep red sunset, or before the carefree feeling of joy that we can enjoy a few days squiera.
The uniqueness of the Greek islands is mainly due to its unique geographical context. Nowhere on the European continent there is such a set of small areas of land scattered across the sea. Of the approximately 500 islands, big and small, are now inhabited 227. Together have an area of 2,516,624 square kilometers with a total population of 1,500,000 inhabitants and stretches over the Aegean and Ionian Sea, with Crete as its southern boundary.
Islands were born of enormous volcanic eruptions or landslides, they contain original beauty. Steep bluffs and cliffs are combined with quiet beaches and black sand, which simpresionan for its uniqueness and because of its contrast with the abunante vegetation, blue sea and picturesque white houses.
The Islanders, in an effort to clear its Greek identity consrvar have kept intact the old traditions and live with the old ways.
