Greek Islands

The Greek Islands are more than 2,000, although only 200 of them is inhabited. Greek Island home to around 1.3 million inhabitants.

The Greek islands are divided into several islands: Cyclades, Dodecanese, Ionian, Sporades, North Aegean islands and the Saronic Gulf.

* The Cyclades Islands. They are in the middle of the Aegean Sea. There can be enjoyed from the comfort of Kea to the lively Mykonos, Milos beaches or towering volcanic ledges of Santorini. Cyclades Greek Islands (Cyclades) are: Kea, Kithnos, Serifos, Sifnos, Milos, Kimolos, Siros (Syros), Paros, Antiparos, Naxos, Andros, Tinos, Mykonos (Mykonos and Mykonos), Delos (Say them), Ios, Folegandros, Sikinos, Anafi, Amorgos, the small Cyclades (Donousa and Kufonisia) and Santorini (Thira or Fira).

* The Dodecanese Islands. These islands are among the Cyclades and the Turkish coast. The northern islands have lush vegetation contrasting with the white houses of the people. The islands of the Dodecanese are: Rhodes, Karpathos (Carpathians), Kasos, Simi (Symi), Tilos, Nisiros, Astipalea (Astypalea), Kos, Kalymnos (Kalymnos), Leros, Patmos and Kastelorizo (Castelorizo or Megistri).
