How To Get To Greece

By Air

Greece has 16 international airports and has links to all major European cities. A large number of Aegean islands have airports. From Spain there are flights from Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Bilbao, Alicante, Malaga, Mallorca, Vigo, Seville, Minorca, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Vitoria, Santander, Pamplona and Gerona to Athens.

Overland

By car it is necessary to reach half of Europe through Greece. From Barcelona there are approximately 2,500 kilometers. Trains passing through Hungary and Bulgaria.

By sea

No ships of the line to communicate with Spanish ports Hellenic. If you want to go to Greece ferries sailing from several Italian cities (Venice, Ancona, Bari and Brindisi) to the Greek port of Igoumenitsa (Epirus), Corfu (Ionian Islands) and Patras (Peloponnese).

The journey lasts 16 to 20 hours depending on distance and type of boat. These ferries have a capacity for passengers and vehicles on which this medium can be a way to get to Greece with our own car. The shortest route is from Brindisi to Patras.
