Monastiri Beach

In the western part of Naoussa, is the popular beach Monastiri. A place in Greece with many identities, warm beaches and available to the tourist looking for relax. It is also a site closely associated with the holidays, many of which include live concerts and lots of color.
One thing to know is that tourism in the town we will find another beach also very beautiful and famous, called Kolymbithres. Here we have a good food to us, embodied in a large number of restaurants.
Returning to Monastiri (monastery), the tourist will find rocky landscapes predominate, over large sand ending in very clean waters. As we said, are secluded beaches, so the nudity is a habit. Water sports are present, the mono diving and snorkeling. The beaches are not very large, but the facilities are neatly divided, giving us a good use of space. On the beach will also find many small bars to relax and drink, plus there are umbrellas and tables where to eat, the best style camping.
On the right side of the island is the Monastery of Aghios Ioannis. This monastery gives its name to the beach we are describing, and is a place where the locals do annually, just in the month of August, one of the most momentous holiday and classical Greece.
To reach these beaches, which is usually very popular with private yachts, is very common to take a boat from Naoussa.
