It is the most famous beach in Greece, Zakynthos Island. It is known as beach Navagio (Shipwreck Beach), famous for being the final destination of a ship suspected smugglers, but also for its extraordinary beauty.

Located on the island of Zakynthos, Shipwreck Beach is a fine white sandy cove and turquoise waters, walled in by a giant limestone cliff and only accessible by boat. It is a secluded beach that attracts thousands of tourists each year, eager to enjoy its crystal clear waters, stunning scenery and visit the remains of the mysterious boat resting on sand. It is not just a beach in Greece, but in fact, one of his iconic landscapes, considered one of the best beaches in the world. To access the shore boats must leave from Porto Vromi or from the port of St. Nikolas. However, most visitors to the beach Navagio do so via cruise ships and boats from the port of Zakynthos, the capital of the island, only about 15,000 inhabitants.

The island of Zakynthos, also known as Zante in Italian, is now one of the most popular destinations in Greece, and his celebrity as legendary, that even is mentioned in the Iliad and the Odyssey.
