It is the province (nomos) of more archaeological Peloponnese (Corinth, Nemea, Mycenae, Argos, Tiryns and Epidaurus). The capital of the province is Nafplio (Nafplion), which was the first capital of Greece between 1828 and 1834.
From 1600 to 1100 a. C. Mycenaean civilization to the Argolid was the heart of Greece. At this time the city was Argos, eternal rival of Sparta.

In the Gulf of Argolis stands Nafplio, the capital of Argolis, and one of the most beautiful cities in Greece. It was the first capital of Greece between 1829 and 1834.

Flights to Crete – Have you not yet visited this amazing island, so it’s time. It is a journey you will never forget as Crete has so much to offer, both culturally and naturally. When you come to the island, do not cheat yourself to spend at least one of your holidays to rent a car or a scooter. There are some super nice beaches on the island and then there are the great mountain range which runs across the island, which you must cross en route. “Omme on the other side” is really cool attractions like. Samaria Gorge and Elafonissi beach, which is so nice, friendly and delicious that you should visit it to understand it.

Thessaloniki is one of the most historic and cultural cities of Greece. Getting there is easy, thanks to its international airport, so you do not have any problem. Do you want to know more about this city.
Thessaloniki or Salonica is a city full of beautiful Byzantine churches, many of which are World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Some of these churches must not lose you are the Church of St. Demetrios, the Church of Agia Sophia and the Church of St Nicolaos Orfanos.
In its three thousand years of history, Thessaloniki has hosted the Byzantines, Romans and Ottomans. In Roman times we have the Rotunda in the old part, built a temple to the god Zeus. The Ottomans also left their mark with Bezesteni (more…)

In the great plain of Thessaly region arising from land many natural columns of dark rock, of considerable height, on some of which are located Byzantine monasteries began to be built in the fourteenth century, at the end of the Byzantine Empire, and completed in the sixteenth century.
Religious communities that lived were called ‘stylites “of” stylos “(column). There are twenty monasteries, seventeen in ruins and only three visits. The “Great Meteoron” is the most interesting. Previously the only access was rudimentary elevators with a basket and a rope in which the locals used to deposit the supplies. Over time they have built ladders and bridges that allow the visit.

Greece has ten national parks with an area of nearly seventy thousand hectares that will delight lovers of nature. For example, it will be very rewarding Ainos visit the park, where the mountain meets the sea, knowing the Natural History Museum or discover Samaria. Also we can not lose its famous Festival Theatre in Athens. And above all share the kindness of the Greeks together with its traditional cuisine, authentic Mediterranean.
