The Beaches of The Island of Patmos

The island of Patmos, Greece, deploys its sands along 70 kilometers of coastline. This geography creates the existence of all types of beaches, some visited by many tourists, others are more relaxed, and some untouched, in total union with nature.

The waters around the beaches is the Aegean Sea, and one of the most outstanding and popular is Kambos, which is located 10 kilometers from the town of Chora. This beach is closely related to families, because the water is really shallow and very warm. Also practiced all kinds of water sports. It is very picturesque and the surrounding area there are a variety of pubs and cafes, shops where tourists can rent bicycles and tour the area on two wheels.

In the southern part of the island is the beach Grikos, a beautiful beach and sports, many people walking and jogging ago woodlands paths that seem to be perfectly drawn in the margins of the coast. Finally, there Meloi Beach is located near the port of Skala. Meloi beach is lined and has an interesting camping for nature lover tourists.
