The Town of Lindos in Rhodes, Greece

Lindos is one of the most beautiful villages that has Greece, located about 50 km south of Rhodes town on the island of the same name. He also made townscape, with cobbled streets, old houses mostly dating from the fifteenth century, very well preserved, dressed in his trademark white color that contrasts with the Mediterranean waters, recreating a magical place to enjoy walking calmly.

Among its tourist attractions it has and attract more tourism are its archeological sites. The Acropolis of Lindos is located on a cliff, was fortified successively by the Greeks, the Romans, Byzantines and Ottomans, which houses important archaeological remains, among which the Doric Temple of Athena Lindia dating from 300 BC C., and is built on the site of the former temple.

Other sectors of this archaeological site are the Gate, the Propylaea, Temple of Dionysus, the Theatre, the Tomb of Cleobulus, The Castle of the Knights of St. John, built before 1317 on ancient Byzantine fortifications, among other ruins. Moreover, being located in a high place, this site allows us to enjoy beautiful views of the city and the coast.
